Love's Labour's Lost

Presented by the BBC, Elijah Moshinksky's adaptation of Love's Labour's Lost, starring Jonathan Kent and Maureen Lipman, is a sparkling comedy of verbal wit and jest. Ferdinand, the King of Navarre, and three of his lords have sworn to put aside worldly pleasures for three years but the arrival of the Princess of France and her attendant ladies tests their reserve. The seeds of romance are quickly sown and amusement and confusion follow.
