It has been announced that three of Kenneth Branagh's upcoming productions at the Garrick Theatre in London, in partnership with Picturehouse Entertainment, will be broadcast live in cinemas in the U.K. and internationally. The first production, A Winter's Tale, which begins performances October 17th, will be broadcast live on November 26, 2015. A Winter's Tale will be co-directed by Rob Ashford and Kenneth Branagh, and will star Judi Dench as Paulina as well as Branagh in the role of Leontes.

The other two productions, Romeo and Juliet and The Entertainer, will be broadcast later in the season and those dates have yet to be announced. In the spring of 2016 Branagh will direct Richard Madden and Lily James in the Shakespearean tragedy. Later in 2016, Ashford will return to direct Branagh in The Entertainer.
