That year, for some unknown but highly magical reason, the Michael Bennett Foundation produced a concert version of Stephen Sondheim and George Furth's Company at the Terrace Theatre in Long Beach. For me, a young kid just starting out in theatre, it was a dream come true. I was able to meet Stephen Sondheim, Harold Prince, George Hearn, and Elaine Stritch among others.
